My Spark Student Motivation post today is along the exact same line as Joanne's! I actually teach 2nd grade and we do not take the state tests. However since I am in a school with only 2nd-4th grades, we get completely pulled in...we have to do all the training, sometimes help with administration, and are often asked to help with the motivation/support piece.
We had a candy themed bouquet contest at our STAAR (Texas state assessment) training and as a result I created these little candy and snack motivational phrases to use with it.
There are 40 phrases included in both color and black/white for printing on colored paper. Below are just a few examples. (Note: I recently updated this so redownload if you purchased previously. There were only 20 phrases and they were not in black/white.)
Open the preview file on TpT to see ALL of the candy/snack phrases included.
Here is the bouquet my team ended up making and we won, of course!
We just used one of each tag, but I also included full sheets of each tag to make it easy to give your students all the same treat. Click the images below and you can download a free sample from Google docs!
