Listening:  Okay add my cat playing with cords to the sound of rain and cars.  She's been trying to get me out of bed since 4:30 this morning and is not happy I'm still in it!
Loving:  We bought a new house last weekend!  Well, there isn't actually a house.  It still needs to be built.  But, we get to go this week to work on choosing things for the inside so I'm excited!

Thinking:  I have a ton of writing to grade today and I HATE grading writing.  Yes, I teach second grade!  We have a rubric, but it's still difficult for me.  We had a writing assignment last week, plus a writing benchmark, plus we have a teacher out on maternity leave.  And since we each have two classes of ELAR, that's a lot of writing!  I was so proud of myself for having all my plans and copies done for next week on Friday too.

Wanting:  My husband has friends flying in tonight that asked us to go to dinner with him.  I said, no way, it's the Super Bowl.  Plus I don't do things on Sunday nights!  But, he says sure...so now we are stuck going to dinner tonight with people I don't know and will probably miss the whole Super Bowl and I'm so annoyed.  Who does that?  I mean, I don't care about football, but I just want to sit home on the couch and watch the commercials and half time (and shop!) like everyone else.

Needing:  I always need to do the laundry.  I hate doing laundry...Even when I do it, I still don't fold it.  And if I fold it, I don't put it away.  Ugh.

2 Truths and a Fib:  I did in fact give up soda about a year ago.  I do have soda every once and a while (like maybe once a month) if I have a really bad day or so I deserve a treat, but considering I used to drink a couple cans a day, that's pretty good!  I have also been zip lining in Hawaii.  It was really scary, but I'm glad I did it and I think I'd do it again.  The fib is that I exercise each morning.  I get up really early, but I just go to work.  I hate exercising and so I just don't.  It's awful.  I just pray that I always have a high metabolism so I never have to.
