Five for Friday {1/3/14}

Bear with me because it might be hard for me to actually think of five things about my week!  I'll have to go with random as opposed to productive.

I watched the first season of Revenge this week.  Pretty good, it held my attention.  Talk about family secrets!  I have to have something going on Netflix in order to keep occupied while I work on the computer, etc.

I didn't leave the house much this week…sort of pathetic, but I was happy to stay inside and do nothing.  In fact, I stayed in my pajamas all day on Monday and Tuesday.  And then when I went to go to the dentist on Thursday morning, my car wouldn't start.  That'll show me!

My mom got us this Ninja blender for Christmas and it just came in the mail a couple days ago.  So far all we've blended is an avocado because we need to go to the grocery store.  Anybody have some good smoothie recipes?  I'm all about fruit and my husband is all about vegetables.  I'm thinking maybe I can sneak some veggies in without affecting the taste.

I finally did some creating this week.  Click on the images to see the products.  If you'd like one for free, pin it and leave a comment with the pin and your email.  I will pick two winners tomorrow.

Today I need to finally start on those lesson plans and going through the bags I brought home two weeks ago.

Check out my Facebook page tomorrow!  I will be participating in a Facebook hop with several other second grade teachers and there will be lots of freebies for you.

Also make sure to check out the above giveaway.  You can win fifty dollars to Amazon, which I know everyone can use.

I've been working with Designs by Kassie on a blog makeover this week.  I can't wait for it to be finished and uploaded for everyone to see!   I did blog every day thus far, so that is an accomplishment for me and will keep my husband from saying I don't need a new blog design.

  3. I would love to use the Winter Parts of Speech Pack in my combined 1/2 classroom. We have been working hard on parts of speech and this would be a great way to reinforce during literacy centers!
