Monday Made It!

This is now my new favorite linky.  I love checking out what everyone else has made and getting more ideas!

First, I had to make one more clipboard so I could have one for myself.  I love this clipboard!  I just used three colors of paper and little stickers to spell out my name.  To see more about how to make the clipboards, read my previous post here.

I also picked up these letters from Hobby Lobby.  I saw lots of people link up with them last week.  Since I had acrylic paint, I just painted each one a different letter and covered the top with scrapbook paper, using Mod Podge of course.

Hobby Lobby had their flowers 50% off last week, so how could I refuse these colors?  I made a bunch of flower pens.  I was thinking they were going to be for myself, but I have a lot so maybe I will use them as a neat handwriting reward or something.  I have posted previously about how to make flower pens.  Super easy!  I tried wrapping the pen with black polka dot washi tape because I thought it would look cool, but it didn't work well.  You have to wrap the tape diagonally to go down the pen and the tape didn't want to move that way without bunching up.  Plus, the pattern looked funny because they tape overlaps as you wrap it.

I love my new laminator!  This week I created, laminated, and cut out my word wall, alphabet signs, and writing process signs.

Well, I have to get ready...I'm off to SIOP training for the next three days.  Can't wait to see what everyone made when I get home!
