Ten Valentine's Day Literacy Centers - Sale & Giveaway

I've been eying these glittery borders and backgrounds on TpT for a couple of weeks now from Glitter Meets Glue Designs.  This morning I just broke down and bought some Valentine's Day themed sets, spending just about all the money I've made so far in my store!  I was happy with my purchase though and spent ALL day adding to and revising my Valentine's Day themed literacy centers.  (I told me husband not to worry because I'd make all the money I spent back soon...)
Here's what I came up with:

Head over to my Teachers Pay Teachers store to pick up this $5 item on SALE for just $3 for the rest of the weekend.  (If you purchased the earlier version, stop by and download the update.)  Plus, I will giveaway a free copy of this product to the first two people to comment on this blog post with their email address!
On another note, Rowdy in First Grade is hosting a Tell Me Something Good linky.  Link up and share something good that happened this week both at school and at home.
School:  Since the first semester is over, I decided I need to have conferences with the parents of the kids that are struggling.  I was actually able to get into contact with all of them and made the appointments for next week.  I am hopeful about having their support for the rest of the year.
Home:  We are planning a trip to Kauai, HI over spring break in March!

  3. Hi Jessica! I found your blog through the post on mine. I have been adding so much to my blog lately I didn't realize how hard things are too find! I did a little rearranging, so hopefully things are a little friendlier now! Your centers look great by the way. Enjoy Hawaii! I haven't been there since my honeymoon (more than 12 years agao) but we LOVED it!

    1. Thanks Ashley! What do you do, a reading workshop approach? Even I don't use the traditional "centers" so I can't always use things as much as I would like to. But, I will leave out activities for students at the word work station and I like having things around for extra practice for my lower kids to use during tutoring, etc.

  6. Your centers look terrific!
I'm getting ready to have some conferences with some of my low students too. I think they are pretty supportive, so hopefully with us all working together, the kiddos will get it.
Congrats on your trip to Hawaii, I've never been.

    1. Thanks for visiting my blog. I was just looking at yours and read about the problem you are having with uploading pictures. I have had the same problem for about a week. It used to say browse and now the button isn't there! So I've been moving the pictures I want to use to picasa and doing it that way, but it is a pain
